OCS Health Class Restores Wildlife Habitats
OCS Health Teacher Sue Holtsnider took her 10th grade summer school health class on a recent field trip to participate in the Southern California Mountains Foundation's Great Seeds Restoration Program. OCS sophomores spent the day restoring plant and wildlife habitats while learning about forest ecology and water management. The day also included a canoe tour of Big Bear Lake.

OCS senior Summer Smith was selected to participate in the USC Dornsife School of Science Summer Research Program 2014. Summer is one of four high school students selected to partner with the professors of molecular and computational biology in current research.
