  • Volleyball
    Director George Hees is the Head Volleyball Coach for both the boys and girls programs at Oaks Christian. George has led the boys program to 3 consecutive league and CIF Southern Section titles. Under his direction, the girls program has developed into one of the strongest in the area. George has been named Coach of the Year multiple times

  • Baseball
    Director Sean Collins is a former All-American centerfielder at Kansas State who played within the Kansas City Royals and Texas Ranger Organizations. Over 5000 campers have attended 83 camps directed by Coach Collins.
    Camp Description Campers learn sound major league fundamentals such as hitting, base running, throwing, fielding, pitching, catching, team defense and have a lot of fun. Lunches are included as well as a little pool time at the Oaks aquatic center.

  • Swimming
    Director Dave Moore is the founding coach of the highly successful Oaks Christian Swimming and Diving program. Under the direction of Coach Moore the program has produced thirty-three CIF Southern Section relay and individual champions. The girls have posted multiple top five finishes in the CIF Southern Section Championships; placing as high as third in 2006. The Oaks boys’ team has progressed from finishing thirty-ninth in 2002 to winning three consecutive section championships (2005, 2006, 2007). Dave Moore has been selected twice by the Los Angeles Daily news as Swim Coach of the Year.
    Camp Description The swim camp specializes in developing the entry level swimmer into a successful competitor through contemporary and cutting-edge training and motivation techniques, and he has developed a program that has successfully adapted these techniques to the training of younger swimmers.

  • Soccer
    Director Sebastian Alvarado - Sebastian ("Sabby") played collegiate soccer at nearby California Lutheran University. A former first team All-Far West region player (1995 - 1997), he helped the Kingsmen to three SCIAC Championships while garnering All-League First Team honors his sophomore, junior and senior year. Sebastian has been coaching at Oaks Christian High School since the school opened in 1999. He has been coaching high school for over ten years and has extensive coaching experience at the youth levels, including 15 years as a club coach.
    Camp Description Emphasis will be placed on teaching the basic techniques and skills that are essential to improve one's soccer game. Players will be grouped according to age and ability. Most importantly, players will be surrounded by a positive soccer environment and caring staff.

    Director Bill Redell and Bryan Howard partner together to offer an outstanding Camp. Bill has been the Head Football Coach at Oaks Christian since its inception in 2000. His record at OCS is a remarkable 94-11-1 and he has led the Lions to 5 straight Southern Section championships. Bryan brings years of experience as former college football player and director of the Hardcore Speed and agility camp
    Camp Description By applying the Hardcore Sport Training principles, and the combined football experience of Coach Redell and Coach Howard, we have an incredible program to offer your kids.

    No matter what their level of football experience is, this program will improve your child’s ability to have a successful football season. Whether they play tackle or flag football, your child will be taught the skills necessary to take their game to the next level.

  • Hardcore Speed and Agility
    Director Bryan grew up in our area, where he was a standout athlete in football, baseball & basketball at Taft High School in Woodland Hills. He then played football for the Kansas Jayhawks on a full-athletic scholarship, and signed with the Denver Broncos after graduating from college. His experience in the NFL was cut short with a career-ending injury. This injury is what led him to develop Hardcore Sport Training, in hopes that he could help train young athletes to prepare themselves for a career in sports and avoid devastating injuries like his.
    Camp Description Hardcore Sport Training designs and conducts training camps for young athletes. Our training principles motivate all types of kids (girls and boys) and improve their self-esteem and sense of total body health. This promotes physical and emotional strength, as well as injury prevention, while developing them into awesome athletes. We help them establish a foundation of sound training principles and habits to guide them to higher levels of performance and education. Hardcore is based upon a progressive training system that builds faster, more powerful, and more agile athletes. We focus on improving functional movement, core development, joint stabilization, balance, flexibility, running mechanics, reaction speed, agility & power.

    Director Directed by Head Coach Pete Ackermann and Mark Bates of the 2-Time CIF Champion Oaks Christian Lady Lions Softball Program. Other instructors include former and current College Softball players.
    Camp Description Campers will learn sound Softball fundamentals in the areas of hitting, base running, throwing, fielding, pitching, catching, team defense and character development in a fun environment. Lunches are included as well as a pool time at the Oaks aquatic center.
