Graduation Requirements

Using a semester system, students must earn 25 credits to graduate.  Students are required to take seven classes per year in grade 9 and 10, six classes per year in grade 11 and at least five classes in grade 12.

Academic Technology Online - 1 semester

All freshmen are required to take one semester of academic technology online. Students have the option to take this course online during the summer before freshmen year.

Bible - 2½ years

All students are required to take bible. Below is the list of bible classes offered for each grade level:

Bible 9: Old Testament (one semester)

Bible 10: New Testament (one semester)

Bible 11: Living the Story (one semester)

Bible 12: Christian Worldview Seminar (one year)

English - 4 years

Students are required to take English all four years of high school. For a complete list of English course offerings, please visit the Academics webpage.

Health Online - 1 semester

All sophomores are required to complete one semester of health. During the school year, students must complete health online. However, students have the option to take health on campus or online during the summer before sophomore year.

History - 3½ years

In order to complete the history graduation requirement, students are required to take three full years of history, and one semester of US government as a senior.

Laboratory Science - 3 years

In order to complete the science graduation requirement, students must take three years of a lab science, including one year of a life science (biology), and one year of a physical science (either chemistry or physics). During the third year of science, students have a choice of what science they would like to take.

Mathematics - 3 years

In order to complete the math graduation requirement, students must complete at least three years, including successful completion of Algebra 2, as a minimum.

Modern and Classical Languages - 3 years

Students have the option to complete three years of one modern and classical language, or two years of one language and two years of another language. Successful completion of a language in middle school counts as one of the three years.

Physical Education - 4 semesters

Students must complete four semesters of P.E. or four seasons of sports.

Visual and Performing Arts - 2 years

One year of the two year requirement should include a UC/Cal State approved visual and performing art.
