The Oaks Christian School curriculum was created from the best programs across the nation, from experts who have become our department chairs, and others with vast experience. From grades six through twelve, students obtain thorough instruction in a core liberal arts curriculum with an emphasis on critical thinking, formulation and defense of ideas, and effective writing and speaking.
Our goal is to develop the whole student: mind, body, soul and spirit. To that end, we are conscious of a Christian worldview in our approach to education. Rigorous and challenging college preparatory courses in all subjects are taught by highly qualified, dedicated Christian teachers, acting as mentors and role models-- becoming a "living curriculum" to inspire students to the highest levels of achievement and purpose.
Small class sizes permit personal attention and interaction between teacher and student to enhance the academic journey. Most departments in our high school offer courses beyond the level of college preparation. Similarly, our middle school's academic rigor prepares students well for the demands of the high school curriculum. Also offered are advanced programs in visual and performing arts, an array of courses in computer technology, and other broad electives in both middle and high school.
