OCS Mission Statement: The mission of Oaks Christian School is to dedicate ourselves to Christ in the pursuit of academic excellence, artistic expression, and athletic distinction, while growing in knowledge and wisdom through God’s abundant grace.

Commitment to Diversity: The Board of Directors, faculty and administration is committed in diversifying the makeup of the Board, faculty and student body by including more representation of cultural, racial and ethnic diversity.

Diversity Committee: The Diversity Committee was started in the 2010-2011 school year. The Committee’s main objective is to create an environment where those within our community (students, parents, staff, faculty, administrators, and trustees) are culturally competent.

Goals:

School membership with POCIS (People of Color in Independent Schools)
Welcome and support of minority families.
Celebrate accomplishments specific to diversity.
Maintain the visual presence of diversity throughout the school environment.
