The Block Center for College Counseling area houses the individual offices of our college counselors as well as a common area with computers, work space, and college resources for students to use at their convenience. The college counseling department's goal is individualized counseling with a focus on appropriate preparation and planning for each student. College counseling programming includes "Spotlight on College" programs, test preparation, college visits, essay and application seminars and college tours. Counselors meet with each 10th, 11th and 12th grade student and we have a counselor specifically designated for 9th grade. 90% of our students matriculate to a four year college or university.
