The Block Center for the Fine Arts includes facilities for painting and drawing, ceramics and photography. Painting and drawing facilities include 20 adjustable workspaces that can be used as tables or easels; track lighting and a stage for models and still-life; trough sink with three faucets; drying rack and rolling drawers for student art storage; projector and screen for use in the study of art history and for displaying sample work; a document camera to record and enlarge art demonstrations. There is also a separate storage room for supplies including over 250 frames and mattes for professional-quality student artwork displays.
