Oaks Christian's Fardad Family Center For Technology offers classes in Application Development (C++, Visual Basic), Web Design (HTML using Macromedia Dreamweaver, Flash), Digital Publishing (Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Graphic Design (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop), Office Applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Digital Video Editing (Adobe Premiere).
All computers and workstations are connected to the campus network, which provides Internet access. Students at Oaks Christian receive their own username and password that allows them to log into any workstation or PC on campus and have access to his or her documents, settings and programs. In addition, students also have access to a general network storage system that allows them to collaborate with other students on projects. OCS also provides each student with an email account and access to Oaks Passport–a personalized portal that gives them customized information about homework, grades, athletics, scheduling, and much more. The campus also provides wireless Internet connectivity for students who wish to access the Internet from their laptop or PDA.
