We are a college-preparatory, day and boarding school serving grades
4-12. But we are more than programs and buildings. We are scholars, creatives, champions, and servant-leaders thriving and excelling through relational bonds and mutual core values.
Oaks Christian School was founded in 2000 by David Price and Dallas Price-Van Breda as a high-caliber Christian school where students would be challenged academically, artistically, and athletically while growing in knowledge and wisdom through God's abundant grace. This was the foundation of Oaks Christian school.
Today, Oaks Christian is an educational vanguard, providing both a rigorous academic program while also holding fast to our Christian beliefs and foundation, as evidence by our accreditations and memberships in both secular and faith-based organizations (WASC, SAIS, ACSI, and CESA).
We aim to graduate students who will be difference-makers and influencers. Our programs, opportunities, and endeavors are focused on character and spiritual formation, intellectual and creative curiosity, and integrity.
As a college-preparatory day and boarding school, we serve over 1,600 students in grades 4 - 12. An impressive 99% of our graduates receive college admission, often to highly selective, top-tier schools. Forty-one percent will attend highly selective colleges, as defined by schools that admit 30% or less of the students who apply.
Many of our student-athletes have gone on to play at D1 schools and professional sports. Our student artists gain local and national honors annually for their creative abilities.
The formation of spiritual leadership, empathy, and a global worldview is fostered through our numerous mission and education trips, student leadership, and many service-learning outreaches.
The International Student Boarding Program sponsors students from several countries. The OC Learning Center provides tutoring and test preparation to our OCS students and local public schools. The fully-accredited OC Online School is a high-quality program for blended or long-distance learning and is a leader in online education.
As we approach our upcoming 25th anniversary, we balance our beloved traditions and rich legacy with forward-thinking innovation that will prepare our students for a rapidly changing world.
