Alum Credits Acting Start to OCS Mentor

Meet Rachele Schank, one of OCS' earliest alumni from the Class of 2006. In this special write up for ShoutOutLA, Schank gives a shout-out to the people who supported her acting dreams and careers, including OCS Theatre Director Ros Allen-Enciso who saw her talent early on and encouraged her to pursue it.

"I also would not be an actor today if it weren’t for my high school theatre teacher, Rosalind Allen Enciso. An incredibly kind-hearted, generous, and dedicated woman. She saw my passion for acting at a young age and became one of my earliest mentors, often going out of her way to help me develop this skill set," she shares in the ShoutOutLA story.

A successful film and television actress, Schank has appeared in the popular television series Marvel Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (ABC), Legion (FX), Animals (HBO), Days of Our Lives (NBC), and most recently in the film "Killer Infatuation."

After Oaks Christian, she earned her bachelor of arts in drama from UC Irvine, and later moved to New York to continue her education. While in New York, she was discovered by Women Model Management and launched a second career as an international fashion model, living and working between New York, Paris, Milan, Tokyo, Athens, Los Angeles, and Canada. She has been featured in Vogue, Elle, Glamour, Marie Claire, W Magazine, INSTYLE, Cosmopolitan, Women's Health, and over 50 national print and commercial ad campaigns.
