Our international community is all about relationships, being known, and knowing others. The residential dorm and the homestay experience help students develop strong, healthy relationships while also immersing them in American culture and life.
When I first came here from Brazil, I wasn't sure what to expect. I was a little apprehensive. But everyone was so warm and welcoming that this soon felt like my home away from home. I never thought a school community would be like family!

How to Apply
Students applying to either boarding or homestay begin by reviewing our application process and filling out an application or through SAO.

Entrance Exam
Students take the SSAT Entrance Exam. If admitted, all international students will take the NWEA MAP Growth Test upon arrival.
Character Skills
All dorm students need to fill out the Character Skills Snapshot, a measure of preferences, attitudes, and beliefs toward seven character skills.
English Proficiency
We expect all applicants to be proficient English speakers as Oaks Christian School does not offer English as a Second Language support. Oaks Christian School accepts the following four English proficiency tests listed here.
