Facilities

Thorson Stadium is the home of the Lions nationally-recognized football program. championship track & field team, and boys and girls lacrosse and soccer teams. The modern venue features state-of-the art turf and stadium seating for over 1,000 fans. 

The Ashton Family Track is home to the nationally recognized Oaks Christian track & field team: a multiple CIF championship team. The girls team clinched the school's 50th CIF title in 2021, and the boys team earned the 51st title in the same meet.

Just south of the Price Academic Center, is the green expanse of the OCS softball field, home of the championship Lady Lions. Girls' softball is one of the most successful school teams, having qualified every year for CIF post-season play, claiming a 46-game win streak, earning three CIF championship titles, and three runner-up slots. 

Play ball! The beautiful Leko Field is where the action happens for the Lions high school baseball teams. From the shaded fan bleachers to the pristine outfield, Leko Field is the place to spend a spring day enjoying America's favorite past time while cheering on the home team.

The tennis courts are home to the middle school boys' and girls' competitive tennis teams, and are also a great facility for physical education classes.

The high school weight room is fully-equipped and provides a venue for athletes and non-athletes for strength and conditioning, be it for their sport or personal fitness. Students can work with qualified strength and conditioning coaches in a safe and supportive environment. 

The Sotelo Aquatic Center is a jewel among our facilities, featuring an Olympic-size regulation pool complete with diving platforms and official swim lanes. The USA waterpolo teams have trained here, and the pool is home to our competitive student water polo and swim and dive teams. In addition to these uses, the pool is integral to our summer sports camp with hundreds of campers enjoying it annually. The pool has also served as a venue for the Ventura County Special Olympics.

The Dallas Athletic Center, just south of Thorson Stadium, is home to our boys' and girls' basketball and volleyball teams, and houses the administrative offices of the OCS athletic department. Students also gather here for pep rallies and other special events. Additionally, the venue also features a state-of-the-art weight training room. The focus of Oaks Christian athletics is to develop positive and confident young men and women who express exceptional character and high moral values on and off the court and the field. 

The middle school has its own athletic facilities. Middle school has 20 sports and 41 teams, both competitive and just for fun. Participation in a middle school sport fulfills the physical education requirement for that year.
