Oaks Christian parents are foundational to helping us live out our mission. There are ample opportunities for parents to volunteer and participate in events and programs while connecting with other parents. Get involved, connect with the OCS community, and share your gifts. It’s a lot of fun and very rewarding. Please take our volunteer survey in our password-protected parent portal AXIS. Filling out the survey is the best way to match your interest and skills to open volunteer positions. Thank you for supporting our school.
Volunteer Opportunities
Our parent volunteers play a very important role in the success of our school, donating countless hours of their time. There are many ways to get involved daily, weekly, or monthly, and all skill levels are welcome! Below are some campus-wide areas where our parent volunteers can contribute their time and expertise on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis:
- Middle School Library
- High School Library
- Sports Teams
- Reception Desks
- Malachi's Closet
- Cafeterias
- Visual Arts
- Performing Arts
- Admissions
- Class Field Trips
- College Tailgate BBQ
- Senior Class Events
I am so glad that I started volunteering when I became a new Oaks parent. I wasn't sure at first how I would fit in, but the welcome was warm and loving. I felt plugged in right away with a group of new friends. Don't hesitate!

Special Volunteer Events
Some of our larger events and fundraisers provide special opportunities for parent volunteers to take on additional responsibility. Below are a few such events where parents can serve on committees or take a lead role in planning and executing the event.
