The most important job in the world is being a parent. It is a high calling and a challenging role to fulfill. The lion’s share of character and faith development of a child happens in the home. We partner with parents for the well-being and education of their sons and daughters.

Moms in Prayer

If you crave a place where God is present, prayers are answered, and hearts are knitted together, Moms in Prayer is the place for you! We warmly invite you to join us in praying for our children and our school as we commit the school year to God, trading our worries for His peace. Moms in Prayer is open to moms, new and returning. It is a great opportunity to get to know other OCS moms. We believe prayer is the wisest investment we can make in our children's lives.

If you have any questions or would like to be on our email list to receive updates and weekly reminders during the school year, please

Parent Bible Study

OCS parents are invited to join the Oaks Parent Bible Study Wednesdays from 1:00pm to 2:30pm at Calvary Community Church in classroom 2114 beginning Jan. 24 and running through March 27. The study guide is Luke-Gut Level Compassion by Lisa Harper, videos, the Bible, and other resources. This year, in the weekly chapels the students attend, speakers will also focus on passages from the gospel of Luke. This will parallel the study, helping foster conversations with students. OCS parent Monica Bjork and special guests from our Oaks spiritual life department lead this class. For more information, please email

We intentionally offer resources, communication, and training seminars for parents. Our Parent Coffee seminars bring in high-caliber professionals and expert guest speakers on a variety of topics, including social media, teens and stress, healthy nutrition and sleep, friendship and dating, and more!

In addition to the resources listed here, parents may also log into our password-protected parent portal AXIS to find numerous resources such as school documents, handbooks, policies, libraries, forms and lists, textbook information, parent and student tutorials, and more!
