The OCS Theatre Production of "Pippin" won Best Costume at the Jerrry Herman Awards, the distinguished awards for high school musicals! OCS students performed the opening scene "We've Got Magic to Do," on the Pantages stage for the 5th Annual Jerry Herman Awards. Pippin was also nominated in six other categories: best scenic design, best lighting design, best musical staging or choreography, best musical direction, best production, and best supporting actor Peter Amoroso playing Charlemagne. Oaks Christian School was selected to participate by representatives from the Jerry Herman organization who felt “Pippin” was one of the most entertaining and impressive productions they had seen this season. Congrats to Director Ros Allen-Enciso and the student cast and crew!
Oaks Christian Online School celebrates the release of "Nowhere to Run (The Prophets of Yahweh)," penned by OCO student-author Kailian Blohm under the pseudonym Jensina Wilson. The historical novel is her debut novel and the first in a series, telling the story of Jonah, a young, reluctant prophet.
