Greg Koukl founded Stand to Reason in 1993 and currently serves as president. He has spoken on more than 90 university campuses both in the United States and abroad and has hosted his own call-in radio show for over 30 years, advocating for “Christianity worth thinking about.” He has debated atheist Michael Shermer on national radio and Deepak Chopra on national television. An award-winning writer and best-selling author, Koukl has written seven books, including “Street Smarts—Using Questions to Answer Christianity’s Toughest Challenges,” “The Story of Reality—How the World Began, How It Ends, and Everything Important that Happens in Between,” “Tactics—A Game Plan for Discussing Your Christian Convictions.” He has been featured on Focus on the Family radio and has been interviewed for CBN and the BBC. Koukl received his master’s in philosophy of religion and ethics at Talbot School of Theology, and his master’s in Christian Apologetics from Simon Greenleaf University. He is an adjunct professor in Christian apologetics at Biola University.

Scott Kegel has his Masters Degree in Spiritual Formation and Discipleship from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. He has been married to Adrienne for 26 years and they have three kids: Chase, Alexa, Siena. His true passion is for the local church and believes it is the hope for our seeking world. He is committed to seeing it reach its full redemptive potential. He believes church is the primary place to see the glory of God through the preaching of His Word, the worship of His Son and the life change of His people.
