"Anne Frank" Returns with Special Exhibit and Play

"Anne Frank" Returns with Special Exhibit and Play

In partnership with Anne Frank LA, Oaks Christian School will host a docent-led Anne Frank Exhibition in connection with the school’s encore production of “The Diary of Anne Frank,” March 12-15 (see show times below). The play was the first production performed in the school’s newly built Bedrosian Pavilion in 2007.

This intimate, thoughtfully curated exhibit is designed to be experienced in about 20 minutes and offers historical context and guided storytelling that deepen the impact of the play. Visiting the exhibition before the performance allows audiences to step into Anne’s world and better understand the real people and events behind the story brought to life on stage.

Entry to the exhibition is free, but advanced timed entry is required and does not include admission to the stage production. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to allow time to view the exhibit before the performance.

The exhibit will be led by approximately 30 Oaks Christian history students trained as exhibit docents by Anne Frank LA. The exhibit was made possible by the generosity of the Burg Family.

“When we think of “The Diary of Anne Frank” we often think first of history—of fear, loss, and injustice. But at its heart, this story is also a testament to hope amid unimaginable circumstances,” said play Director Ros Allen-Enciso. “As you watch, we invite you to reflect not only on the past, but on the present. How do we choose empathy and hope in our own lives? How do we care for one another in moments that challenge us? Anne’s story endures because it inspires us to meet the world with courage, kindness, and love.”
