Müller Tapped as New Boys' Soccer Head Coach
Oaks Christian School is pleased to announce Oliver Müller as the next head coach of the Varsity Boys’ Soccer Program. OCS Head of Athletics Dr. Brad Cook announced Müller’s appointment on Tuesday, May 20.
“I’m excited about Oliver leading the boys’ soccer program,” Cook said. “Especially with his background worldwide and his knowledge of the game. We have a belief in his ability to lead our program.”
A seasoned soccer coach, Muller’s skills and values are in sync with the OCS mission.
“I’m honored to join the Oaks Christian community,” said Müller. “This school’s commitment to academic excellence, spiritual growth, and athletic distinction aligns closely with my own values as a coach. I look forward to supporting our student-athletes not just in competition, but in their overall journey.”
Originally from Germany, Müller holds the UEFA A Coaching License, UEFA Elite Youth A Diploma, and UEFA Goalkeeper A Diploma—some of the highest coaching credentials in European football. Throughout his career, he has been fortunate to work with professional academies, national championship teams, and talented young athletes across Europe, Asia, and the United States.
His coaching journey has included winning the Austrian U18 National Championship, developing Bundesliga talents such as Christoph Baumgartner and Florian Grillitsch, and serving with elite academies including FC Red Bull Salzburg and MLS NEXT powerhouse Santa Barbara Soccer Club & Ventura County Fusion.
Müller first joined the Oaks Christian community when he was appointed as the head coach of the junior varsity boys’ soccer program during the 2024-25 season. He led the Lions to nine wins and a 70% winning percentage.
“I think he brings in energy, professionalism and experience,” said OCS Soccer Program Director Sebastian Alvarado. “Hopefully he builds off the success he had with JV program and helps grow the program.”
Müller hopes to capitalize on the pillars of Oaks Christian to enhance the presence of the Oaks Christian boys’ soccer program.
“My mission is to cultivate a culture of excellence rooted in faith, unity, and purpose,” Müller said. “We strive to develop complete student-athletes—technically skilled, tactically intelligent, spiritually grounded, and mentally strong—who honor Christ through their commitment, leadership, and pursuit of greatness on and off the field.”
