All students take an annual retreat with their class. In the high school, freshmen canoe down the Colorado River, sophomores go on a mini bowling retreat, juniors spend a day at Calamigos Ranch and seniors head off to a three day retreat to reflect on their years at Oaks Christian and spend one last time with their class. In the middle school, sixth-grade students enjoy a Malibu retreat, while seventh and eighth graders spend time at Lost Canyon. Every retreat has a spiritual component that serves as a reminder to students to consider a lifetime of following Jesus Christ.

Below are the locations for each grade level retreat:

Freshmen Retreat (Colorado River Canoe Trip) — Students will develop self-confidence, class unity, and be oriented to the culture of Oaks Christian School.

Sophomore Retreat — The retreat will focus on fellowship, spiritual renewal and college counseling as sophomores prepare to become upperclassmen.

Junior Retreat – The retreat will focus on fellowship, spiritual renewal and college counseling as juniors prepare to become seniors.

Senior Retreat — Seniors will have a unique opportunity to participate in a three day, off-campus retreat to reflect on their school experiences and to plan for the next stage of their life.
